About the Engagement
This opportunity is structured as an independent contractor engagement.
Business Development Representatives operating under a written Independent Contractor Agreement introduce TaskReef’s published services to qualified prospects and facilitate introductory conversations.
This engagement is non-exclusive and project-based. Contractors retain discretion over how they identify, approach, and engage prospective clients.
Nothing in this posting creates an employment relationship or guarantees income or ongoing assignments.
Engagement Structure
• 1099 independent contractor classification
• Commission-only compensation
• Non-exclusive engagement
• No guaranteed minimum earnings
• No required hours or sales quotas
• Contractor determines the manner, means, and scheduling of outreach activities
Contractor performs services as an independent business and is responsible for applicable taxes, registrations, and compliance obligations.
Responsibilities May Include
• Identifying and connecting with qualified prospects
• Presenting TaskReef’s published services and pricing
• Facilitating introductory conversations
• Transitioning interested prospects to TaskReef leadership for enrollment
• Representing services accurately and professionally
Independent Business Development Representatives may present published services and pricing but do not have authority to modify pricing, negotiate contractual terms, execute agreements, or bind TaskReef to contractual obligations. All service agreements are executed solely by TaskReef.
Scope of services varies by written engagement and is defined in the Independent Contractor Agreement.
Qualifications
• Experience in B2B, B2C, professional services, or consultative sales preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Self-directed and comfortable operating independently
• Professional judgment and presentation
• Ability to manage independent outreach efforts
Compensation
Compensation is commission-based and defined in a written Independent Contractor Agreement.
Commission is calculated as a percentage of collected client revenue for a defined initial billing period as specified in the Independent Contractor Agreement.
Commission is earned only upon execution of a service agreement and receipt of client payment.
TaskReef does not guarantee minimum earnings, income levels, or sales volume.
Jurisdictional Eligibility
At this time, this engagement is open to individuals who reside and perform services in the following U.S. states:
AR, AZ, FL, GA, ID, IN, MI, MT, NC, ND, NM, NV, OH, OK, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WV, WY
Contractor must reside and perform services from an approved state at the time of application and throughout engagement. Relocation requires prior written approval.
Background Screening
Where relevant to engagement scope and permitted by applicable law, background screening may occur following a conditional engagement invitation.
